Lap Appendectomy:
A laparoscopic (lap-a-ro- SKOPP-ik) or “lap” appendectomy is a minimally invasive surgery to remove the appendix through several small incisions, rather than through one large one. Recovery time from the lap appendectomy is short.

Lap Inguinal Hernia (TAPP):
The most common laparoscopic techniques for inguinal hernia repair are transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) repair and totally extraperitoneal (TEP) repair. In TAPP the surgeon goes into the peritoneal cavity and places a mesh through a peritoneal incision over possible hernia sites.

Lap. Ventral Hernia Repair:
Additional tiny incisions are made to allow other instruments to be placed inside the abdominal cavity for the procedure. The surgeon will repair the hole, remove any scar tissue, and bring the muscle tissues back to their normal position.

Lap. Fundoplication:
A Nissen fundoplication is an operation to prevent acid reflux, where acid from your stomach travels up into your oesophagus (gullet). It involves wrapping the top part of your stomach around your oesophagus. For this reason, the operation is sometimes known as a 'wrap'.

Lap. Varicocelectomy:
Varicocelectomy is surgery to fix a varicocele. A varicocele is swelling of veins in the scrotum. This swelling is due to blood backing up in the veins. A varicocele can cause pain or a heavy feeling in the scrotum but is often painless.

Lap Needle Herniotomy:
Laparoscopic hernia repair is a minimally invasive surgical technique used for repairing many types of hernias. This procedure uses three to four small incisions and a tool called a laparoscope, or a thin tube with a camera on the end, to guide the surgeon.

Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy:
Laparoscopic hysterectomy is a vaginal hysterectomy performed with the aid of a laparoscope, a thin, flexible tube containing a video camera. Thin tubes are inserted through tiny incisions in the abdomen near the navel. The uterus is then removed in sections through the laparoscope tube or through the vagina.

Lap. Ovarian Cystectomy:
An ovarian cystectomy is surgery to remove a cyst from your ovary. Laparoscopic surgery is a minimally invasive surgery technique that only uses a few small incisions in your lower abdomen.

Lap. Duodenal Ulcer perforation repair:
Intracorporeal knot together with an omental patch should be applied to seal the perforation. The perforation is closed by intracorporeal stitches (simple closure by 3/0 Vicryl on SKI needle) and re-enforced by a pedicle omental graft.

Lap. Nephrectomy:
A laparoscopic nephrectomy involves removing an entire kidney through keyhole incisions in the flank, the side of the body between the ribs and the hip. A nephrectomy is usually done for one of two reasons, either for cancer of the kidney or because of a non- functioning kidney.

Lap. Cystogastrostomy for pseudopancreatic cyst:
